Is it possible to convert violin music to the viola?
I play the viola, and i just recently asked a question for sheet music for viva la vida, but all the answers i got were for violin and cello. I have done alot of searching myself and i was not able to find the sheet music for the viola… all i saw was the trebble clef and bass clef, but no alto clef. So, i was wondering if there is a way to convert the violin notes to viola so i would be able to play this. Thanks to anyone that helps!

so basically, when im reading the music, lets say, an open G for me would be written as an A (on the G string) on the music?
well for me to play viola music on my violin i transpose it all into the alto clef. Middle line on treble clef stave is a B which is my middle C. So basically when playing the violin part you are reading one note down – if that makes any sense to you! hope this helps
