How do I use the violin varnish?

I imagine you want to paint your violin or should I say, paint it. First, sand it lightly with a # 600 sandpaper. Air blow fiddle to remove small patches of dust and brush it with a clean brush to ensure it is clean. Then apply very thin coats, sanding in betwen each, so that the paint can grab and prevent dripping. Use 5 or 6 thin layers before applying the final coat. Normally you use thin layers in 30-min to 45 min. in-between.
