Need help with the selection of a piece? ?
So my friends and I want to do a piano trio together for a very easy music contest. It’s not a competition.
So I need a piece for us to play. It can’t exceed more than 8 mins give or take a minute.We only need one movement. Our cello prefers we not do Beethoven or Mozart.
I have played piano for 7 years now playing at the level of Chopin’s Black Key Etude and Rachmaninoff’s G minor prelude.
Our cello has finished book 10 suzuki. Working on Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capricio.
Our violin has finished book 6 but her teacher doesn’t do books 7-10. She’s working on the Polish Dance.
Mendelssohn or Brahms (pick the Brahms)
