Calling all violin experts!!!!!?
Ok, so here’s my issue…
My violins E string buzzes whenever I pluck it… sometimes when I bow it and let the sound resonate, it buzzes a little bit… it drives me nuts!! My violin is Cecilio, and the strings I use are Infeld Blue’s by Thomastik. Now I don’t know what’s causing this, but I’m wondering if its something fixable.. But if not, then I’ll take it to a repair shop.
I’m open to any possibilities.. thanks!!!
It couldn’t be the strings being old, cause I just bought a whole new set like 2 or 3 months ago.. and i’ve been playing for about 4 years
The kind of violin or strings is not material; you probably have a rough nut or a loose fine tuner. Even an open crack in the instrument. Check your fine tuners. But you should probably take it to a shop and have them look at it.
