Is my violin setup good enough to use for high school orchestra?

I am going to high school in one year.
I was wondering if the following setup is good enough for high school.
My high school orchestra is pretty good.

Violin: Otto Benjamin 600 4/4, about $1,600 (isn’t a good violin USUALLY but this one had a nice sound is what my teacher said)

Arcos Brazil nickel mounted bow, about $380

Melos and Gustav Bernardel rosin

Strings: Dominant titanium solo synthetic core

Do I need to upgrade anything? (I want t get pretty serious about playing violin and am pretty good already) Is it worth upgrading to a wilhelm klier, hiroshi kono, cladiu baltazar, or heinrich gill?
appreciate any advice
I have been playing for four years and I currently have this violin, so am wondering if its good enough to continue with. appreciate all answers!

Depends on how long you’ve been playing. Otto isn’t a bad violin, actually. I played for quite a few years then moved to a Glaesel violin, and the difference is noticeable.

If you’re planning on moving to this violin from an old one, be prepared for a different feel. i.e. the strings may sit closer together on the bridge, the neck may feel slightly different. Just try them out as long as possible. Sounds like you have a good setup though. Hell of a lot better than I’ve seen most high schoolers playing!

If you’re just starting, I don’t knwo if I’d pick this one. It’s a bit much for a starter. Good luck!
