Help me choose a piece.?
So me and my friends decided to do a piano trio for a music festival. It should be at most 10 mins. I know that’s cutting it off really short.
The playing level differs for each of us. We all are in an orchestra and have plenty of ensemble experience.
Me, piano: About a very advanced intermediate level or early advanced level. Chopin Black Key Etude and Rachmaninoff G minor prelude
Violin: Finished book 6 suzuki. Her teacher doesn’t do books 7+. She’s working on the Polish Dance
Cello: Finished book 10 suzuki. He’s working on Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capricio
Maybe Beethoven’s “7 Variations?”
Or, the Bloch trio
