thats a tough one there both something that you will probably do for a very long time, the violin is gonna be something where you can walk into your room, pick it up and play it whenever you want, plus its gonna be something the more you do it the more your gonna notice a difference in your skill level, and if you get lessons you might get really good and mabey join a band or write music and play the street corners or something, the camera on the other hand is gonna be something where if you are interested in something (concerts, bird watching, city scapes) you will be able to immortalize them, possibly sell them to a magazine or paper, really its up to you, out of your choices i would think you to be a creative person, and coming from someone who plays multiple instruments, i would go with the violin because that could even lead you to other instruments and years of entertainment
