I have my father’s violin and would like to know the history and monetary value of it.
If your father was a concert violinist there is a chance that your violin is valuable. Even then it is almost impossible for it to have been made by Stradivarius.
The only way you can get a fair estimate of it’s value is to have it appraised by a professional.
If it is worth a lot they will know immediately before doing a complete appraisal. If it isn’t worth much they can tell you before you invest any money in it.
