What is the best Höfner violin / viola bass copy to get?
I am a huge fan of The Beatles and am looking to get a copy of Paul McCartney's Höfner bass between £ 100 and £ 200. There seems to be a lot of copies out there, but I'm not sure which one to get: The Höfner icon works a bit out of my price range, but I might consider it, but I care most about the Jay-distance copies, which seems to have god reviews, but seems to be too expensive in the uk. a similar model for the tour, La Marquis New copy that looks like, but I have no idea about quality as only sold from ebay and have no reviews online. Has anyone played any of these bass guitars or similar Höfner copies? which would you recommend I get? Thank you.
