Is there an interactive violin tuner either online or downloadable?
I want to tune my violin at home. I need either an online application or downloadable program that tells me if my violin is in tune. I want to plug a microphone into my computer and play violin, and the program tells me to either tighten or loosen the string.

I bought this thing called smartmusic, it has a tuner on it but it’s main function is to let you play along to music on the computer and then it grades your rhythm and intonation. That could work.
My dad also has pitchperfect on this computer, it also works. You just play your violin into your computer microphone and it tells you whether you are sharp or flat.
And some other sites just have the pitch, and you have to match your violin’s pitch with the given one.
Good luck finding a tuner! Just to let you know, a good program with a tuner might cost money, so you might want to just buy a handheld one that you clip to your bridge and that you can keep in your case.
