What can you tell me about Mendini Violins?
I want to learn to play the violin and was thinking of buying one of this brands violins. Does anyone have any experience with one?

NEVER BUY A VIOLIN FROM EBAY OR A GENERAL MUSIC STORE.
Violins have to be set up correctly otherwise they will be hard to play and hard to tune. Only buy it from a proper violin shop so that it is set up correctly.
Check with you local violin shop and see what they have. You can usually get a decent beginners outfit (violin, bow, case, rosin and shoulder rest) for about $250.
If there is no violin shop near you than try Shar music. At least they know about violins :
