mendini violin

Can someone tell me if this is a good violin to buy?

They said they would drop the price to $125 and the brand is true mendini.
hey also said One peg is loose but can be tightened with chalk. the bow has adjustment knobs and the bridge and everything else seems straight, but they don’t play professionally so they didn’t know how to answer my questions which were Are the pegs staright, is the sound post straight and is the bow well haired?
so is it a good deal or no?

“It is in perfect condition and plays nicely.
It comes with extra strings, bridges, cleaning cloth, bow, carrying case and resin. ”

It’s a good deal but when you get the violin, you may have to go to a violin repair shop since one of the pegs is loose. Tightening it with chalk may help but it’ll take you time to tune it because of this.

BTW, when you play a violin, it’s BEST to have a shoulder rest. so you’ll have to buy it yourself (the size should be the same size as the violin) and there’s a possibility that you may not like the sound quality since he didn’t even post a sample of the violin’s sound.

note: when buying something that you haven’t even tried or fit (you need a fitting for the violin, chin rest, and shoulder rest) it’s too risky and troublesome because you have to send it back if you got the wrong size (if you got the wrong size, it’s not okay if it’s too big for you because your fingers will straighten up and be harder to play. It’s okay to have a violin smaller than your size but it’s best to have the violin that really fits you) or you don’t like it’s sound or if you’re not comfortable to play it with.
