Need A Violin For High School Level?
I’m thinking about getting a Klaus Mueller Etude violin for about $250.This includes a Kyoto case and a Brazilwood bow. The site i might order from is “southweststrings.com”. Is this a good site? And more importntly, is this a good deal and violin?
I have played for five years before but quit over two years ago.
Do you play the violin? Buying a violin is like buying a car – there are a lot of lemons out there, and you won’t know if a violin is any good until you play it – but if you’ve never played a violin before, it’s easy to get fooled into thinking an instrument is better than it is. The reviews on this one make it seem like it’s a pretty good value for the money (and that’s about the least you’d expect to pay for a good student violin) but make sure you can return it if you’re not happy with it, or get a trial period before you have to pay for it – many websites do offer this, like http://www.stringworks.com . I got my violin from them, and I’m very happy with it.
