If I take the violin in high school, how hard would it be to get an A?
Hi, I want high school this year and I really want to learn playing the violin, although I've already chosen art / drama for my elective I'm going to go see the counselor to change. I already know how to read notes, including notes on everything and tenor stick (although I'm not too good at it.) I have taken the theory and now I am in Harmony 1st I received 90 + in all my exams. (Preliminary rudiments, rudiments Grade 1, Grade 2 rudiments) And I'm also currently in grade 8 RCM piano. (My practical exam marks are mediocre though) So, where hard to fiddle will be for me to learn? I have clumsy fingers, by the way. ):
Clumsy fingers? With it, if it's your first year will take time. I remember when I first started playing it I thought I could do something right, because it seemed so hard. But after you get used to it, it is just a game. Other then that if you make 90 + you should be fine. Good luck and have fun with the violin! Oh, and work on not letting your fingers walk over another, you need good fingers on the violin!
