Cecilio Violin Is It Good?
I’ve been wanting to learn violin for a long time now, and have come across a violin for a decent price. It looks good from the pics, but I don’t know a thing about buying a good violin.

Is cecilio violin are no good, is a suzuki violin a better choice?
I’m looking on spending under $300 on my first violin
i have been looking for a trumpet, i saw cecilio, and people on yahoo answers have told me that they are bad.
first of all, cecilio , i have heard, are cheap itallian or chinese made instruments. k k music store sells like a bunch of cecilios.
they say that they are really cheap, but you get what you paid for. they are maybe good for lets say, the first week or two, then it breaks.
so if your not planning to be in an orchestra , or a band or anything, and your not going to preform. if you just want to fiddle around, its okay. i saw this guy on youtube playing on that violin and it sounded okay.
if you do plan on doing so, i would spend over 300 dollars for a good one. i would look on www.craigslist.com search for some used violins. some are selling really great violins , gently used, for around 300$. A used good violin would be better then a 100 buck violin.
and i don’t think k k music store is that good. they are like the only ones who sell cecilio instruments, i wouldn’t order from them. i would go to a site like musician’s friend or wood wind and brass wind. http://www.wwbw.com/Violins-Stringed-Instruments.wwbw?o=1 the first one is the same price, but i find it more better then cecilio because of the reveiws.

the Silver Creek SC3EL Acoustic-Electric Violin looks like a pretty good violin.
just read the reviews, look for more online, and maybe, go to your music store and try some out.
